Survivorship

Advances in cancer care and research means that more people are living longer after cancer treatment. This growing number of cancer survivors highlights the need to understand and address the unique needs of patients who have completed treatment for cancer. At DF/BWCC at Milford, survivorship experts work with you to develop a personalized care plan to help address your unique medical and psychosocial needs, identify needed screening tests, and manage potential long-term or late effects of cancer treatment. For more information about our survivorship program, please call (508) 488-3700.

Dana-Farber also offers a number of online resources to help you address the range of issues you may confront after treatment, including the changes in the body after cancer treatment; emotional and physical symptom management; legal rights concerning healthcare and employment; finding support groups; maintaining, repairing, or enhancing personal relationships, and pursuing appropriate follow-up care.
