Balanced nutrition is an important part of cancer treatment, as well as survivorship and prevention. We encourage you to consult with our registered dietitian to design a healthful diet that can help rebuild the body’s cells and energy level, as well as manage the side effects of treatments. The Cancer Center also offers “Fighting Cancer with your Fork,” an education program about the role nutrition and a healthy lifestyle can play in cancer prevention and survivorship.

Patients also have access to nutrition services at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in Boston.
