Offered by Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education

Course Objectives

This half-day course will provide medical oncologists; surgical oncologists; radiation oncologists; nurse practitioners; and other interested clinicians with the opportunity to advance their knowledge of breast and ovarian cancer and their commonalities. Through a series of lectures and interactive case discussions, attendees will gain a better understanding of BRCA1/2 syndromes, ovarian cancer advances, triple-negative breast cancer, and the current use and future potential of DNA targets as breast and ovarian cancer treatments. The session will review key scientific advances related to these cancers, and apply them to clinical practice.

Participants are invited to submit a challenging case from their own practices in advance of the course for consideration at two related case discussion sessions.
