Course Objectives
This half-day course will provide medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation therapists, nurses and other interested clinicians with an update regarding the management of gastrointestinal cancers. Specialists in gastrointestinal oncology will present the latest information for managing colorectal, pancreatic and liver cancer, including the use of laparoscopic procedures in gastrointestinal malignancies. Faculty will also discuss the genetic syndromes that characterize hereditary colorectal cancer.
In addition to learning from faculty presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to present their own challenging cases for discussion and input by the panel of specialists.
